Studio Discotech is a venture studio and trading name of Wordmark Studios B.V. ("we," "us," or "our"). We are based in The Netherlands.
This page outlines two legal documents:
Privacy Policy: How we handle your data.
Terms of Service: The rules for using our App and services.
Part 1: Privacy Policy
We believe in data minimalism. We only collect what is strictly necessary to run our design practice and power our applications.
1. Website Visitors (studiodiscotech.com)
Browsing: When you visit our studio website, you do so anonymously. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixels, or marketing cookies.
Hosting: Our website is hosted via TransIP and powered by Ghost/Framer. These platforms may use technically essential cookies strictly to ensure the website loads and displays correctly.
2. The "Feedforward" App
This section applies to users of our mobile application, Feedforward.
A. Personal Data We Collect To provide the core functionality of the App, we collect and store:
Contact Info: Email Address.
Identity: User ID (generated by our authentication provider).
B. How We Use Your Data
Authentication: We use your email to create your account and secure your login.
App Functionality: To save your user preferences and content across sessions.
C. Diagnostics & Crash Reporting We use third-party tools to help us improve the stability of the App. These tools collect pseudonymized data (data that does not identify you by name) such as crash logs, device type, and operating system version.
Firebase Crashlytics (Google): To detect when the app crashes and why.
TestFlight (Apple): For beta testing and feedback logs.
D. Data Storage & Processors We do not own our own data centers. We use industry-standard, secure third-party processors to store user data:
Google Firebase: Used for authentication, database storage, and crash reporting.
3. Studio Clients (B2B Services)
If you hire Studio Discotech for design or venture services, this section applies to you.
What we collect: To perform our contract with you, we may process Names, Business Email Addresses, and Billing Information (VAT Number, Address).
How we store it: We use GDPR-compliant tools to manage our studio operations:
Communication: Google Workspace
Project Management: Trello, Notion
Invoicing: Moneybird
Retention: We retain financial records for 7 years as required by the Dutch Tax Authority (Belastingdienst).
4. Your Rights (GDPR & App Account Deletion)
For App Users:
Account Deletion: You have the right to request the deletion of your Feedforward account and associated data. You may do this within the App settings or by emailing us.
For All Users: Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, or erase any personal data we hold about you. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Part 2: Terms of Service
By downloading, accessing, or using the Feedforward app ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. User Accounts
To access certain features of the App, you must register an account using your email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
2. User Conduct & Acceptable Use (Zero Tolerance Policy)
Feedforward is designed to be a safe and productive environment. We have a Zero Tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behavior.
By using the App, you agree NOT to:
Post, share, or generate content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harmful, or obscene.
Post content that promotes hate speech, discrimination, or violence based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or disability.
Distribute pornography or explicit sexual content.
Engage in bullying, harassment, or intimidation of other users.
3. Content Moderation & Termination
Wordmark Studios B.V. reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to:
Monitor and review user-generated content.
Remove any content that violates these Terms without prior notice.
Immediately suspend or ban any user found violating our Zero Tolerance policy regarding abusive content or harassment.
4. Intellectual Property
Your Content: You retain ownership of the content you create within the App. However, by posting it, you grant us a license to store and display it solely for the purpose of providing the App’s service to you.
Our Property: The Feedforward App, its code, design, and branding are the intellectual property of Wordmark Studios B.V.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or that access will be uninterrupted.
6. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of The Netherlands. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Noord-Holland.
